The Titanfall 2 free multiplayer trial officially runs December 2-4, but if you have an EA Access (Xbox One) or Origin Access (PC) membership, you can start playing right this moment.

As announced previously, the trial includes the "full offering" of Titanfall 2's multiplayer mode, including all maps, modes, and weapons. It also includes the Angel City's Most Wanted update, which adds a remastered version of the Angel City map from Titanfall 1 and other new content.

Additionally, all progress from the trial will carry forward to the full game, should you decide to buy it.

No version of EA Access is available on PlayStation 4, so people on Sony's platform cannot play early. Starting December 2, the trial will become available for everyone across Xbox One, PS4, and PC.

Titanfall 2 launched at the end of October. Following a research firm's analysis that claimed the game's sales would be "substantially disappointing," EA CFO Blake Jorgensen suggested that sales were not as strong as the company wanted. In an investor call, Jorgensen said EA is taking a long-term approach to the Titanfall franchise, so the company is less concerned with first-day and first-week sales.

Additionally, Titanfall 2 was heavily discounted very soon after launch.
