News Harry Potter Author Confirms 5 Movies for Fantastic Beasts

    When Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them hits theaters next month, it'll kick off a series of five movies. Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling announced the news during a livestream today. You can watch the replay through the tweeted link below.

    A follow-up to next month's movie was announced back in August. It's confirmed to release on November 16, 2018. Both Rowling and David Yates will return to write the screenplay and direct respectively.

    Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them opens on November 17. It stars actors Eddie Redmayne (The Danish Girl), Katherine Waterston (Steve Jobs), Colin Farrell (In Bruges), Zoe Kravitz (Mad Max: Fury Road), Ron Perlman (Hellboy), Ezra Miller (Trainwreck), and Jon Voight (Mission: Impossible).
