Nintendo's annual eShop summer sale is officially underway, but some of the best deals actually come from the standard weekly offerings.
The Summer Savings sale is a somewhat limited one, and any comparisons to Steam's equivalent won't be favorable for Nintendo. But given that sales on digital 3DS and Wii U games aren't especially common, this does make for a good opportunity to pick up Super Mario Galaxy for $14, Super Mario 3 for $3.49, Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash for $35, or The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds for $28.
[IMG]The sale is live now and runs until September 1 at 8:59 AM PT. Nintendo's announcement says it offers discounts of up to 30 percent, but there's one exception in Just Dance 2015, which is half-price.
There are also other games that are discounted separately from this sale; those include 1001 Spikes ($10 on Wii U or 3DS), Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl ($10 on 3DS), and Cave Story ($7 on 3DS).
Also of note from today's eShop update is Metroid Prime: Federation Force, which is now on the eShop but doesn't officially launch until tomorrow, August 19.
The full list of games included in the summer sale follow below. You can also see everything currently on sale on the eShop website.
