Overwatch's latest big update has brought in a raft of changes--not least Symmetra's buff. But one new feature that's gone a little under the radar may be the one to have the biggest effect: the Stay as Team function.

If you happen across a great team of strangers where everyone knows the rules--and no-one camps as Bastion--then you can elect to remain with that squad for the next game, so you can stay strong together. Not everyone needs to press the press the button to remain together, though the precise number or proportion required for the game to decide is not clear.

If you're unlucky enough to be matched with a team of noobs or 11-year-olds screaming down the mic, then you can carry on and get re-matched as normal.

Stay as Team is live now in the Overwatch Public Test Realm on PC, along with all the other changes brought about by the latest patch. It's not yet clear if the function will come to PS4 and Xbox One.

Meanwhile, Overwatch publisher Blizzard is seemingly working on an "unannounced first-person project"--it's currently unknown if this relates to Overwatch. Blizzard also introduced a new character to Overwatch recently: Sombra.
