Sony announced today that it's celebrating the launch of the PlayStation 4 Pro with a midnight release event in New York City.

Beginning at 7 PM ET on November 9, you can start lining up at the Sony Square NYC store, which is located at 25 Madison Avenue. The first 200 people in line get to buy their PS4 Pro beginning at midnight on November 10; it's credit card only, Sony clarified in a post on the PlayStation Blog.

There will be food and drinks, as well as giveaways and "escape" games themed around Sony Pictures Television shows like The Blacklist and Timeless. Everyone who attends the party will be entered for a chance to win an expenses-paid trip to the PlayStation Experience 2016 show in Anaheim, California, which runs December 3-4. Sony will also give away PlayStation VR headsets and extremely rare 20th Anniversary PS4 consoles during the event.

You can see the full terms and conditions for the giveaway here.

The $400 PS4 Pro goes on sale November 10 at retailers everywhere. For lots more on the console, check out GameSpot's roundup of everything you need to know and our list of all the games getting patches for the system.
