Anticipation is high for Spider-Man: Homecoming, which will see the much-loved wallcrawler headline his first Marvel Studios movie. The film is not due until next summer, but star Tom Holland has revealed that discussions are already underway for a sequel.

Speaking to WWD, Holland confirmed that the studio was considering a second Spidey film. "My next project I can’t tell you about, but we’ve just finished Spider-Man and we're talking about the second one, who the villain is going to be, and where we're going,” he teased.

Holland has also been talking about his work on Homecoming, which has now wrapped production. "I did as many [of the stunts] as I could," he told Variety. "But there are some things legally that I couldn't do. There were stunt doubles who were all very, very talented guys who really supported me throughout the process.

"Whenever there was a stunt that I didn't necessarily feel comfortable about, they would step in and show my how to do it, and coach me through the process."

In addition, Holland revealed that the long hours spent on-set in Spidey's iconic suit wasn't always the most pleasant experience. "The suit's not the greatest thing," he admitted. "But sometimes when it's uncomfortable, you just have to remind yourself of the long list of actors that would love to be in [it] and you just go, 'do you know what, f**k it. I'm the luckiest kid alive."

Last month, the first images of the villainous Shocker were released. Although the face of the actor was not revealed, it has been rumored that Fargo star Bokeem Woodbine would play the character. It is also believed Michael Keaton is also on-board to play a villain, possibly the Vulture.

Spider-Man: Homecoming hits theaters on July 7, 2017. It also stars Marisa Tomei, Robert Downey Jr, Donald Glover, Tony Revolori, and Tyne Daly.

In Spider-Man gaming news, Ratchet & Clank developer Insomniac is making a Spider-Man game for PlayStation 4, though it remains to be seen if it will be released alongside the movie next year.
