In July, CD Projekt Red confirmed that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is getting some form of a Game of the Year version, though the company never said when it would launch or what it would cost.
Now, Amazon has posted a product page 9 (via NeoGAF) for a Complete Edition that mentions an August 30 release date and a $50 price point. August 30 is a Tuesday, the day games are typically released in the US. The page also shows off the box art; see it below.
[IMG]The box art (which looks to be final, though this is not confirmed) also mentions that the package comes with the expansions Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine. Also reportedly included in the bundle are the 16 free DLC offerings that CD Projekt Red released, including smaller things like new costumes and more.
GameSpot has contacted CD Projekt Red in an attempt to get more details on The Witcher 3 Complete Edition. We'll update this post to include anything we hear back from the Polish developer.
The Witcher 3 has shipped nearly 10 million copies since release in May 2015. It represents the end of main character Geralt's story, but is not necessarily the last game in the series.
On the more immediate horizon for CD Projekt Red is Gwent: The Witcher Card Game, which enters closed beta on Xbox One and PC in October. The studio is also working on Cyberpunk 2077, which is scheduled to launch sometime in the 2017-2021 window.
